A Jazzblaster Begins
Just sold my Danocaster Telecaster Deluxe because I want to build a Jazzblaster, figured I'd track it here.
Guitar Mill is out of light alder, so I ordered a light swamp ash body, $50 upcharge for deeper WRHB routs
Going to do a Musikraft neck, roasted, 7.25" radius & 6105 frets.
Vintage WRHBs are on hand and a Staytrem.
Likely a Mastery vibrato.
Last decision to make - charcoal frost w/ Spitfire guard or ice blue metallic and mint.

I’m just one vote, but ice blue looks amazing.

That's how I'm leaning, with this Danocaster as inspiration:

Body arrived from Guitar Mill - 3 pounds, 4 ounces! I might have the first Jazzmaster with neck dive.

Dig the vision.
I’m a huge WRHB fan.

Neck is supposed to arrive today, time to get small parts together.
Decided on a different color, I'm going to hit up these people for their aged Pelham Blue - it's a non-traditional 'Fender,' so why not?

Real life has been delaying this, finally ordered a waterslide for the neck, e-mailing a finisher this afternoon about doing up the body and neck.
