Anodized gold Jazzmaster pickguard for VM Jazzmaster?

Post by Rab1s » Wed Aug 22, 2018 8:28 pm

Hey guys about to pick up a Jazzmaster in burst and really want the gold guard to go with it. Does anyone know where I can get one that fits well for a decent price? I’ve seen em but for like 150-200USD. I tried looking for Ascis guards that people took off and sold but with no luck.

I did find this. Anyone bought this/from them before? Does it fit?62' Jazzmaster Pickguard,Metal Aluminum Gold Anodized,Fits USA Fender

This one is meant for American guitars, so I don’t know how well it will fit the VM body.

Still, it’s quite nice. For about the same price, Stratosphere will sell you a loaded Squier guard that is gold. Presumably, this one would fit, too, but then you have bonus pickups and electronics.

Man see I’m not looking to drop 100 bucks. That’s almost half of what I paid for the guitar. I found one on rt guitar parts. Anyone use them?

I have an EY gold guard on my Squier, but it's the old VM Special body. If I were using a rhythm circuit it wouldn't line up perfectly, but otherwise it fits great.
