Thinline Offset Builder?

Post by DROCK2K1 » Tue Aug 14, 2018 5:15 am

I hope this is in the right section. I am looking for anyone who does a standard size Jazzmaster in a thinline body...with humbuckers. Yes I know it isn't traditional, I had a TMG build like this which I loved but had to sell to pay some medical bills. Just curious if there were other builders around doing the same. I considered Warmoth but I don't have the chops to put it together. I checked with Bilt but they only do the Zaftig which is a little wide for me.

Anyway, long time lurker, first time poster.

Try Saylor Guitars, they do a thinline Jazzmaster. From what I've heard, they will customize and are good quality.

I'm building a hollow body jazzmasterish guitar for myself. It's not an exact jazzmaster clone it's a hybrid between a 62' Framus TV star 151 bass shape and a jazzmaster. I'm using Cyprus flooring from a Frank Lloyd Wright boat House routed down to about 3/16" for the top with a mahogany center block. I'll add a post about it when I have the time/funds to continue working on it
