I have a Les Trem on a Les Paul type guitar and I love it. I would highly recommend the device. It's well made, very smooth, simple to install, and due to that, easy to swap to other guitars. If the price gives you pause, consider that it can always be easily swapped to another axe in the future and this one returned to stock in minutes. One thing I would recommend with it (or any other) is a roller bridge.

The Les Trem would really only be good if you had a stoptail (or if you’re willing to install the bushings for one).

The Duesenberg system is great and gives an easy way to add tremelo to a stop tailpiece guitar:
It actually improved the tone of the guitar to my ears too. Beware though, I had a hell of a job trying to fit it because either Gibson or Duesenberg got the spacing slightly off.

Have you considered the trem that Burns used to make? I'm pretty sure Hagstrom used to use them but they screw straight on much like a bigsby. I'm unsure on cost or how easy they are to source though. Would look rad on a tele haha

These look all sorts of steampunk cool, but it also looks like nobody makes a copy these days?07hubbardj wrote: ↑Wed Jul 25, 2018 1:59 amHave you considered the trem that Burns used to make? I've never seen any copies or even reproductions of these. Only pricey originals
