Jagmaster Project Scratchplate

Post by Stinkersdaddy » Wed Jul 04, 2018 2:00 am

I've just obtained a 25.5in scale Jagmaster to restore to it's former glory, but it is missing it's scratchplate. A Jazzmaster one doesn't fit as the control route is too wide. So can anyone help me out and tell me where in the UK I can get hold of a standard pickguard or worst case does anyone have a scale drawing / DWG file so I can cut one for it?

Thanks

There should be some available on eBay for pretty cheap.

I'll be watching this one. I have a 24 inch scale that I'm looking to mod. I've searched around and found a couple of places that make them, but I haven't tried them:

WD does customs with a tracing (but that won't help you if you don't have one to trace!) https://www.wdmusic.com/pickguards.html

I found this loaded pickguard on Reverb https://reverb.com/item/11022157-fender ... ter-duncan

Maybe someone could provide a tracing of their Jagmaster pickguard so you could order one?

Thanks Sonicdeathmonkey

I've managed to find a couple of used plates in Ireland that are being posted to me. Once I get my hands on them, I'll trace and send a link to a scale drawing, so if anyone else need to get one they can make one up.

i have the same issue. but i've got a friend who cuts me mine. i had 2 jagmaster pickguards, both so mangled and fucked up we had to trace 4 different pickguards (2 jagmasters, 1 strat and one mustang) just to get the initial outline.
