Hello everyone,
I'm new to the forum and in need of some help.
I recently completed (or so I thought) a Jazzmaster build, but when the intonation was way off at the 12th fret, I realized that I had set the scale wrong. I built the body to JM spec, but had a Jaguar neck built.
Now I'm not sure if I should keep going and try to repair the body (plug the bridge holes, reset the bridge) or get another blank and start over. Im trying to avoid that option if possible b/c I dont have access to a bandsaw anymore.
Any advice would be appreciated!

Buy a decent strat style neck and put that on the body then start over on something new?

Yep, new neck is all you need. Sell the jag neck or save it for a jag project.

if the jazzmaster body isnt painted yet and you have use for jazzmaster parts i'd just fill n redrill the bridge holes and make it a jag but if its painted i'd probably sell the neck and buy a jazzy neck
