Hello, all. This is a simple post. I am contemplating a metal flake finish for a block and binding Jazzmaster that I presently have in parts. It is a TVL model. I did a refin in charcoal frost metallic but a friend touched it when it was still wet before the clear coat stage. Damn! I set it down for a month and now I am getting an itch to start over and do a metal flake. Not a pearl or slightly metallic finish but one straight out of the boat show. Leaning toward something that would go well with a mint or aged parchment guard? Then again perhaps a yellow-green (a la Ed Roth) with a black guard would be nice. Considering silver. Not sure, except I'd like to steer clear of purple since the J Mascis Jazzmaster is relatively common already.
So...looking for ideas. Show me your sparkly stuff!

BTW, I realize that this was kind of a dumb post. Apologies! I am looking for ideas, though, and I figured that this was a great place to start.

If you want to outsource the finishing, guitarpaintguys have some really cool flake options.

If you want to diy again, Roth Flake has some great looking rattle can stuff.

As far as colors go, you can never go wrong with blue or green.
This one would be awesome too:
