Art Jazzblaster Project V2.0 Finished!

Post by HNB » Mon Apr 16, 2018 5:38 pm

Got another pzorito body and I am excited to work on it. :) Here is what I have so far. I need a tremolo basically to have all the parts.

I love these projects. Very inspiring stuff.
(Christopher, also)
I've been to one World's Fair, a picnic, and a rodeo, and that's the stupidest thing i ever heard come out a pair of headphones.

was this body painted by a guy named brendan cooper or something like that? i always see his bodies posted in one of the offset related facebook groups and i'm always tempted because they're super cool.

nice work on the headstock by the way, matches the body great! excited to see this finished

This is looking really cool. Great work on the head stock art. Closer in hue to the body than the v1 art project.

What are your plans for mounting the pickups in those jazzmaster pup sized holes?

I am going to use tuner mounting screws to mount the humbucker to the wood in the body. For the neck, I am going to use either chopped Jaguar pickup screws to mount it to the body or possibly tremolo mounting screws. I agree that the color is much closer on V2 than V1. They will be good siblings. :D

Tremolo came so I got the pickups mounted and wired up. :) Just need the neck finish to cure. The bridge pickup is being held down with two string tree screws. The neck pickup is screwed down with two tremolo mounting screws. I don't see them coming off by accident. LOL

I like the other one a little better aesthetically, but I dig the DGAF factor of this one.

All done and rocking. The pickups sound good. (Which is a relief since I can't really adjust them much bolted down unless I added foam or something...)
