JM trem upgrade
I have a question regarding jm/jag vibratos. I needed one for my musicmaster project, so I decided to use the one from my CIJ JM for that project. Which means I get to upgrade my JM. I'd love to go mastery but cannot afford it. The next thing I see recommended the most is avri. Are these the same as the "american vintage" I see for sale everywhere right now? Just wanna make sure I can get the best part I can afford for my JM. Thanks!

I remember seeing about a comparison between the the AVRI and ... something (classic player?) recently . . . and there the author recommended the AVRI, AVRI does stand for American Vintage Reissue I believe so they may well be the same . . .
When thinking about any advice given always ask yourself "why would (s)he know more than I do".

I'm just a little confused because they switched the AVRI line to AV65 and now its the original. So I'm just trying to figure out if what's labeled as the "American Vintage" is the same on all of them or what.
