Hey! Are there any updates yet?
I'm super curious how the colour turned out! :)

That's always my thought as well. Luckily, there's someone on this forum that has figured out a solution:
Shepherd And Crow Conversion Bracket

What I'd do is probably a phase switch, series-parallel switch, and maybe a dark switch (or strangle)...
Sorry for bumping the thread, but this bracket looks really interesting. I'd like to it, but I'm not sure how it should work. Does anyone have dimensions of it? I'd like to test it. At the moment I don't understand where this bracket should be mounted and where the switches should be mounted.

Thank you.

The designer gives the dimensions on that page ..
8.07 x 2.41 x 0.25 cm
(ie relatively long and very narrow)

Cut a piece of paper that size and place it over the JM pickguard to check. I assume the new switches go directly where the rollers are, so that would determine the placement. It may also require a pickguard cut out ? I am not sure if it was intended to go above or below the pickguard. As the designer says ... 'totally untested'.

I never found much use for the stock circuit. I was thinking using it to activate a volume control which has a treble bleed.

Talking about rhythm circuit mods, I really like what was done on Fender Jaguar Bass: active preamp with bass and treble control. Roller knobs fit fantastic for such purpose.

I have thought a few times about modding the roller controls as Tone for both pickups and the knob controls as Volume for both pickups. The slider switch could be a Jaguar style strangle tone switch.

I use the volume controls a lot, but not so much the tone, so having them more as a set and forget with the option for easy micro-tweaks right under my hand would be nice.

Or would the other way be better? Reaching further for an easy to grab knob, or having a roller control right under my hand for easy volume adjustments? Hmmm
