Wetsanded the body. Looks pretty good. Then I sanded the neck pocket to get the Allparts neck to fit.

Then I taped around the tremolo so I could mark the screw holes.

Next I went to getting toggle, pots, jack plate, and strap buttons on. I got the neck pickup placed but not drilled. I need two more screws for the bridge humbucker still. Good progress for an evening.

Thanks! Got the bridge pickup on the body tonight and wetsanded the headstock. Also put the tuner bushings on and found out the klusons I have aren't vintage style so they don't fit. I ordered a new set and then I installed the nut.

I need the tuners to get the neck mounted so I can string the high and low E to make sure it gets drilled center. :)

Thanks! I got the tuners installed and the pickup rings mounted. The knobs might not be the right size. They are Allparts push on, but I am thinking they might be import size.

Maybe you can look in this direction:

Color of the knobs will match the fretboard.. :) ... or if you prefer black knobs:

HERE is the link with more choices.

That guitar looks stunningly beautiful!!! Hats off!
