How did you manage to carve out the Rossmeisl-style headstock for that Jazzmaster? Have been trying to figure that out.

Got it. Thanks for the photos. I presume you used a router after doing the initial carving? Is that why a two layer template was used?

Looks good! The plate behind the chicken head knob is a good idea. One can chew up a finish pretty fast with fingernails.
