That is beautiful. I'll always be more partial to the Jazzmaster trems than the Mustang ones & would love to see a Marauder with one but it is stellar!

Hey, Rank! That could probably be arranged, though I wouldn't want to be ripping off BilT guitars... So I'd want to do it with the vibrato closer to the bridge.
I have got StayTrem bridges before and John has been happy to machine down the lip on one side (the non- intonation screws side) and flip the saddles so the bridge can be used "backwards", that way you can deal with a sharper break angle without interference.

Nah, not pearloid, i prefer white or mint... Either one would do.

Man...I can see the argument for just doing a wood stain and leaving it. Beautiful grain on that.

This is the colour I tend to use instead of mint green, which I find is always too cold / bright / glow-in-the-dark looking. It's called "ivory", and is almost a dead match for the old celluloid guard on my foam green '65 Jazzmaster. Not quite as dark, but the right colour.

Cheers dude! Yeah I agree, I think a clear high gloss nitro finish would look fantastic on this one. Maybe I'll send it Rexter's way along with Tribi9's bodyjulius2790 wrote:Man...I can see the argument for just doing a wood stain and leaving it. Beautiful grain on that.
Incidentally, the piece in the original post is earmarked for the Jovelectro, look good to you?

This is quite incredible...I really have to investigate that roasting process, a guy I know down South has a big oven, I'll ask him if he knows about the technique.
Any thought about the pickups yet?
