What kind of pickups?
Who made the tort?
What does that sticker say?

Re: CIJ Jazz(bl)aster tweak/build/thing
I didn't even think of creamery pups. I just took delivery of a Novak wrhb for the bridge pos to see if I liked it. If it's a winner I'll grab the neck too.
I'm more than curious to see how you make out.

Re: CIJ Jazz(bl)aster tweak/build/thing
I've never knowingly heard a Novak in person but these Creamery's are excellent. Neck is butter and bridge is actually usable (for a change) with the tone rolled down a touch on my tiny Traynor... Going to try 'em thru a 1x15 in a day or two...Chippertheripper wrote:I didn't even think of creamery pups. I just took delivery of a Novak wrhb for the bridge pos to see if I liked it. Re: CIJ Jazz(bl)aster tweak/build/thing
Aesthetically... I definitely wanted a more red-ish guard but was told quoteunquotemoreorless "A real tort will change colour over time while a facsimile red won't look as great or as 3-D over all."
And the Spitfire stuff is way too expensive.
So let the waiting begin...

Re: CIJ Jazz(bl)aster tweak/build/thing
That's sick.
I liked the bridge Novak a bunch, so I ordered the neck too.
Mine currently is volume only too, rhythm circuit disconnected.
I'm away on vacation so it'll be Monday before I get to drop the neck pup in.
Of course, OriginalFuzz was having a summer blowout too, so I had to grab a matchy-match strap.

Then save your $, upgrade to a staytrem arm and collet if you just have that itch that only a purchase will scratch.LBx wrote:Mastery envy!

Definitely itching to not spend any more cash at all... But we both know how that goes...
