this is my 5th attempt at WRHBs in a jazzmaster. yikes.
this time, i'm doing it right.
Parts List:
- Lefty MIJ Maple big-headstock Neck, all vintage specs
- MIJ Fender Wide Range Humbucker bridge pickup
- MIM Fender Wide Range Humbucker Neck pickup
- TOM Bridge
- Fender Tremolo (vibrato)
- MJT Black light-relic Lefty Jazzmaster body
- Terrapin custom pickguard, WRHBs, No Rhythm Circuit (black)
so basically, it will look like a Tele Deluxe, with a Jazzmaster body

Was it you who snapped up that dirt-cheap lefty body from MJTs eBay store last week? I had my eye on that, but fell asleep!

the MIJ bridge pickups are wound hotter (in my experience) and IMO, sound much better. I like the MIM WRHB in the neck, though.

Well, i assembled the guitar last night/ this morning and it's looking pretty nice!
MJT light relic Jazzmaster body (black) that i had to crudely route for the bigger WRHBs.
i also had to shim the neck quite a bit, and i decided to break the legs off an old MIJ Jazzmaster bridge and set it atop the TOM posts.
It looks pretty sweet.... pics to come soon!
