My project was a success: Fender JM Blacktop neck on Mascis body. It came out very well and I am pleased.
The loaded body portion of the project is stock except the bridge is gfs tom and an American cream colored guard. The neck is from the fsr blacktop. I like the neck a lot.
How boring. I'm a terrible story teller.

No worries! But it's weird that I will not be convinced you are real person and not possibly somebody testing their typical-guitar-forumite AI on our system until there are pictures. hey y'all. looking at doing a JM build and curious about the blacktop neck. I dig the 9.5 radius and feel of the CP neck, liked it more that the 60's Lacquer I played. Is the blacktop pretty similar? any opinions on it?

Not really, its very plastic feeling and more c shaped. the CP is nicer cause it has a bit more of a U shape which is what i wish most fender's came in still
