Black Jazzmaster partmaster project: Mjt, Guitar Mill etc
Hi people there,
this is Zanna from Italy. I'm a newbie here but I lurk a lot information from here. Sick and tired of facebook I think I'll back to basics of forum knowledge, so I want to show you my project. It took me a couple of years to find fine second hand parts to keep budget at the low side.
Here it is:
Mjt JM body hardcore relic (bought locally)
GiutarMill neck Fat C profile, clay dots. nitro reliced etc (bought locally)
Black Star UK reliced pick guard
Pickups JM Original set overwound 5%+ by Jess Loureiro (Spain) with reliced cover by him
Japanese hardware, Graphtech saddles
Staytrem Collet and cream tip arm (in the picture there's a japanese arm, now swapped)
Setup by my liuthier.
With pro setup and assembly, with shipping costs in, 1.100 €uros
I never had a guitar so lightwighted, so commfy with this huge neck. I love it, those hated saddles as well.
What you think?
Currently my number one, makes me want to get rid of my mij Jag...
I have a couple of open guitar Project so I'll soon bother you with questions.

Very tasty!
I usually don't like heavy relic work, but that body looks great!

I bet a mastery bridge would take this to another level! How about a master vibrato and arm too?
Love the black paint!

I actually have a mastery on my mij jag, great upgrade (I actually play it rarely) but I haven't switched bridges yet, those graphite saddles seems to choke some frequencies kinda right, and it stays in tune... for now is perfect to me. M Vibrato? I bet it is great but 180 € used is out of budget for me nowpainted wood wrote:I bet a mastery bridge would take this to another level! How about a master vibrato and arm too?
