The newest one. With the Jag trem. It's a perfect combo of the Jag and the 'Stang. What would your plan be electronically with both sets of switches?

My thinking was to make the two switches on either side be "split/series/parallel" for each pickup. On the right side, the three "jag" switches would be:paulnewman wrote: ↑Mon Mar 19, 2018 12:36 pm

top:master phase
middle:neck pup on/off
bottom: bridge pup on/off
The knobs would be standard master tone/master volume, but I'm open to suggestion.

I have enjoyed reading the evolution of this guitar quite abit, can not believe how long I have been ignoring this thread. If you have not found a luthier yet I would be very interested in working on this with you to realise it in wood. Either way, I am likely to be building one!
Well done.
Well done.
Logic gates based on billiard-ball computer designs have also been made to operate using live soldier crabs of the species Mictyris guinotae in place of the billiard balls.

Dude PM me! I'd LOVE to collaborate! I work as an illustrator so I can get really really pristine with the measurements for the template. The rest of course I'd have to leave in the hands of a skilled craftsman.oid wrote: ↑Mon Mar 19, 2018 3:43 pmI have enjoyed reading the evolution of this guitar quite abit, can not believe how long I have been ignoring this thread. I like the Mark IV.
The other one looks like a Jay Turd-ser Mustang to me.

never heard of that mustang before now. it is definitely a good reference as to what to avoid if we go that route. however i do think the offset body and skewed pickguard would do a lot to clean up and unify the mustang you mentioned.

We aren't sure which one we want to make. Maybe we should start a poll in another thread.
