I'd strongly suggest the Jag body thickness, with contours. Maybe a bit more subtle on the arm contour, compared to a jag. The mustang looks ok without contours because it's such a small (and thin) body. Yours will look too "planky" without contours.

Btw, stop fiddling with the body outline shape now - it's fckn perfect!

Since you've nailed this, you really must start working on a non-reverse super sonic plan. Go on, you know you want to!

I do commission work! It's usually for character art and animation for Indie games, but guitar design would be fun! Feel free to PM me about it =]

This is the one that I built with the help of some friends.

It is technically my son's guitar even though he is just a toddler. He'll grow into it.

Hey thanks for sharing! That's really neat! I will say that the reason I started this project was to reconcile a thing I saw as a flaw in previous attempts, which is the sheer difference in size between the jag and mustang.

I think for that one, the bottom is just too large and wide when balanced against the small size of the mustang's profile and hardware. They wind up looking bottom heavy imo.

This other bit is a matter of taste, but like I said in my intro, I also prefer the convex mustang control plate combined with the offset body. That's a hip relationship to my eye.

Anyway thanks for sharing your work! If I ever manage to get this puppy made, I eagerly anticipate your guys's feedback

Looks good, Inkeye. Nice work, there. I like those hardtail plates. Is that one from Faction?

I always thought a non-reverse super-sonic would be cool.
