I'm imagining it with an arch top, and thinking about a different kind of neck joint, but I don't know how to draw any of those features in Illustrator to where anyone would actually be able to tell what's going on. I could maybe also do a custom pickup ring. I'm also thinking as pictured with a solid block under the bridge joining the top and back is the easiest way to make it, but this design could also be pretty cool with a full-hollow Gretsch-style construction, the Bigsby would just have to be a B3 instead of the chopped B5 pictured.
Don't sell yourself short. If all the ones so far, this is the first I'd consider for my own. A standard B5 on a solid block would go nicely on it. It's no slouch as a flat top, either.

I've been screwing around with this idea in Google Sketchup.

I was out of town last week and got a late start on this one but I've been sketching some ideas since I got home and this is what I've got so far. I'm thinking flat-top, double bound, kinda thin, some kind of maestro vibrola and maybe a gold foil pickup.

This was a tough one for me. I struggled with the no cutaways concept. :bored: :D

Sort of a semi-hollow offset Kay Vanguard with a slotted headstock. The trem is really just a handle for the tailpiece + roller bridge. Maybe this is a terrible idea. The drawing certainly is.
