Vote for the best 400 dollar build off challenger!
Almost caught up on work and life, finally catching up on this. If you don't remember, we had 4 entries in the 400 dollar win a Titan contest.
#1: SansRegret's Bass Build: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=101178" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
#2: KeithJ's super thin guitar build: viewtopic.php?f=8&t=101207&start=60" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
#3: Sonichris's like double guitar (bonus points for getting the reference): http://www.offsetguitars.com/forums/vie ... 8&t=101268" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Honorable mention TexasToast: NOT IN THE RUNNING (at builders request) but bad ass
Vote how you want, vote early, vote often. Reward as you see fit! We'll leave it open for 15 days and then the winner gets a "Mystery Titan"!

Tough choice. Amazing work on all entries and the honorable mention. Very inspiring! I am going to give it a thought.

Thank you, I really appreciate the feedback! I'm really happy with how it turned out, and totally blown away by the responses I've received!valley_parade wrote:They're all incredibly cool, but I'm totally blown away by Keith's. Wow.
I recorded one just after I finished the guitar, but couldn't figure out how to upload it to YouTube. I just got it a few minutes ago and posted a link at the bottom of my thread. Guys! I'm officially a YouTuber now!!!dc wrote:was a video ever done of the incredibly cool KeithJ guitar being played? i'd like to hear it -

I had a great time with this contest and I'm glad to see that the voting has begun.
Of course, I voted for my homeboy Sonic Chris who not only builds great guitars but is the best... mono-thingy guy there is.

For those of y'all who have not seen Chris's double neck guitar in action we did make a video... I kinda forgot about it until now.

One contestant should be disqualified, right? The rules clearly say the cap was $400, not ballpark 400. That was the whole point of the challenge. Seems unfair to the other contestants that didn't break the rules.Sonichris wrote:I went over by $28.45. It was trem that put me over. I thought about adding the trem after the contest, but decided I'd rather build it the way I wanted it - $29 over or not.

Ah yes, confirming what I have always thought about these kinds of forums.

5th post. Is it more odd that a new guy commented on challenge, or that no one cares he went over the limit, which was the whole point of the challenge? And where did he get 3 new fender pickups for 120, I want that deal!

Musicians friend. $80 a pair. That's the regular price. Sold the extra.
