Re: Guitar design challenge?
bass is ace. has to be. & not too many arbitrary restrictions this time, like not a four-bolt neck or must have 4x2 headstock. let the weirdness flow & it will reveal itself. don't try too hard to force it out.countertext wrote:BASSStereordinary wrote:Everyone please feel free to make more suggestions for future challenges.

there is so much weirdness here already. & much good weirdness i think, like cuttlefish & shit. not bad weirdness, like a warm toilet seat.
i am an animal.

Re: Guitar design challenge?
These were fun. We still doing this? Paging Paul.
Bass?
Four stringer
Maybe symmetrical headstocks... like no in-line?
Neck through?
Split pickgaurd? (scratchplate for those of you across the pond )

Re: Guitar design challenge?
I like the idea of a design challenge!
I'd submit the one I'm currently in the process of making. I'm confident of my designing abilities and I honestly feel that the one I'm doing would stack up against anything out there.
One question, though. Who's the judge (or judges)?

It's a challenge, not a competition, so there is no judge.frpax wrote:I like the idea of a design challenge!

You get a list of criteria, and you make a design from that. Lots of fun.
