Jazzmaster Pickguard w/out Rhythm Circuit

Post by joe2517 » Fri Mar 24, 2017 10:54 am

Hi guys,

I'm after a pickguard without a rhythm circuit to fit my Classic Series 60's Jazzmaster Lacquer (MIM) but I'm having trouble finding one. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm UK based so I'd rather not go down the custom route (Warmoth, etc.) unless it's totally necessary.

Thanks

I'd contact pickguardian and see how much he'd charge - his prices are thoroughly reasonable. The only stock fender model I can think of that doesn't have a rhythm circuit is the antigua baritone squier VMJM: https://reverb.com/item/4667995-fender- ... ts-antigua" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Oh wait, maybe the blacktop JMs too, though I'm not sure who makes a replacement guard.

They ship worldwide. I have no idea about the fitment though. It's made for their bodes which do not have the rhythm area routed. And looks like you'll have to re-drill the bridge holes unless you're using a TOM.

I have one of their strat guards. It needs some finessing of the neck pocket area, but everything else is spot on.

I would avoid their tortoise. It's a poor photoshopped on thing. Likely the same for the pearl.

The blacktop JM has a humbucker in the bridge and a TOM. Not what the OP is looking for as far as I can tell.
The artist formerly known as mbene085.
