Jeez guys. I never thought I'd be subject to the OSG super-detailed-internet detective squad.Ben17e wrote:First, love the color! Looks great! Not to question you but Are you sure the neck is not 25.5? It looks like the but is both further up and the butt is lower down. It doesn't seem like enough distance between the two to force that perspective. Pretty wild if so.
It's a 24" neck. I PROMISE. Me and my guitar tech put the neck into the body and used a tape measurer. For real. Next time I will take pics that don't skew the perspective.
It should be done in a couple of weeks. Can't wait!

Almost there. I asked for a bunch of extra shielding.

It's finally here! Fun guitar. Nice sound unplugged too. The All-Parts neck doesn't have rolled edges like the Fender's so I'm getting used to that. Ultra Fender decal nerds may notice that everything is gold. I used a Mustang Bass decal and removed the bass part.

This is gorgeous. I have this weird and ultra-specific obsession with shortscale offsets in the blue-green spectrum (I have 4 of them) as well as B&B necks (only have 1 though!), so count me among the people who think this guitar is hot as hell.

This is phenomenal! I'm usually not a fan of matching headstocks, but that green and gold is beautiful.

Great guitar!
I was wondering where you got the gold logo for the mustang part also?
I just rn accidentally drilled screws into the back of the guitar all the way through when i was screwing down the brass shielding i got for my 69 reissue mustang so I'm going to just get the body filled (has a ton of dents and shit anyways so I'e thought about it for years now) and refinished with a matching headtstock but i need the full gold decal
I'm thinking sherwood green? maybe dakota red? famous kurtz kobain comp mustang in blue?

Here is a poorly-lit pic of the Candy-apple green Mustang, Sherwood Green Jag, and Dakota Red Bass VI.palesnow67 wrote:Great guitar!
