Mustang Deluxe Project color reveal on page 2
I apologize for being an ass by not posting pics. I will do that soon. Some stuff is still in the mail.
Basically I am putting together a parts Mustang (67 body from 2fLAz) with a B&B Neck.
Think I'm going to send it to MJT once I have all the parts. Trying to figure out the color. It will probably be a bit out of the ordinary to reflect the fancy neck.

You know what? I don't think I've ever seen anyone do a Mustang with a B&B neck in all the years I've been on OSG, Shortscale and the internet in general. I haven't seen one anywhere for that matter.
Should be cool as hell.
I'm stoked for this.
Aztec Gold???

Re: Mustang Deluxe Project
Color will be a known Fender one, a polarizing non-traditional one, especially for Mustangs.

Three of my favorites.Unicorn Warrior wrote:Charcoal frost, inca silver, or Sherwood green metallic?
I always thought Charcoal Frost is/was the unofficial favorite custom color of OSG.
The color I want is 'loud.' I guess I could chicken out, but I'm feeling good about it.

I'd be saving that neck for a Jag project, but that's just me.

Ah, but I have already refurbished and refinished two Jaguars. I've owned three or for others, and I already have my perfect personal Jaguar-gas killing Jaguar.CROSS_guitars wrote:I'd be saving that neck for a Jag project, but that's just me.
I totally realize that a B&B neck is kind of nuts on a Mustang, but I gotta do it.
If you think the B&B + Mustang is questionable at best... wait until you see the color!
