Hi BTL,
I just tried to follow the link, unfortunately I can't access it as I haven't posted enough in the forum I think to access the classifieds. Still keen for a neck but understand if it's an issue. Thanks.

@Saintlade You are on THE LIST on page 20 and have received pricing via PM. The first two necks have sold, so now we're waiting for the remaining 28 to return from being resprayed in Japan.

Same here. I guess it's time for more posting and less lurking!

Ha, I'm in the same boat.
I've been doing my best to post over the past few day and make some meaningful contributions to convos where I can.
IMO, worth the investment in time. This will by my 2nd offset (Jag), and I have a sneaking suspicion that it won't end there, and I'll stick around this forum for quite some time.

I don’t currently have the privileges to access the thread, but I am interested in this if there ends up being an opening

I'll post updates here when the remaining 28 come in, and I'm always available via PM.

Gotta figure it'll take 2-3 months. Maybe I'll have a body ready by then, hah.

I hope it's much quicker than that. The 28 necks are already back in Japan, and my understanding is they are being worked on. This was a big, uncharacteristic QC failure, and Allparts is demanding a quick turnaround. That said, we'll see how it goes.electric__ralph wrote: ↑Sun May 19, 2024 9:06 amGotta figure it'll take 2-3 months. Maybe I'll have a body ready by then, hah.

I'm not a pessimist, I'm an optimist. If I set my expectations very low, I'll always be pleasantly surprised by the outcome!
If they have to respray nitro, that just takes time, gotta wait a good month for it to dry if you want good results polishing afterwards. If they don't have to do anything other than level sand, buff, and ship them back then yeah, turnaround could be pretty fast.
