so today i was driving to my dads house to show him the guitar. he started playing again after 30 years and is getting into different types of guitars and wanted to check it out. very cool he started playing again.
anyway, he was borrowing my gig bag and was giving it back, so i had the guitar naked on the back seat. i was kinda putting my arm back to hang onto it while turning or stopping. my wife called me so i wasnt able to hang onto it for a moment. of course the guy in front of me slams on his brakes and when i slam on mine not to crash into him, the guitar flies off the seat. mustve hit the metal brackets that holds the front seat on. this happened:

the shape and size of the damage isnt so bothersome but its over 1/4" deep which just looks so shitty.
cant decide whether to fix it or relic the rest of the guitar or just leave it.
just so annoyed. the guitar has only been complete since saturday evening.

I figured someone would say that. Learned my lesson, huh? :shifty:

Lesson definitely learned... Always use a case, even when transporting to collect another case.

Probably not, most people don't listen or care about something like that until something really bad happens to them..

Denting a guitar isn't likely to change that. ;)

Cool guitar though.

Turned out great! Bummer about the damage, but you know how it goes, you'll forget about it being there pretty soon. Medium Wedgewood Metallic is such a beautiful color, and it looks great on your build.
