24" scale neck supplier to send to Australia

Post by guitalias » Mon Sep 21, 2020 12:03 am

G'day, I'm looking for a supplier of 24" scale neck that will send to Australia. It is for the next stage of my Ergonomic (sitting) guitar (body) build.
http://www.offsetguitars.com/forums/vie ... 0&start=30
I'm not looking for Warmoth level quality, it will be years before my playing will be at that level, actually a race against mortality, doubt I will ever be that good.
But I am looking say for equal Squier quality or better.
In two minds whether to just stick with the Squier neck & reshape the headstock.
thanks.

Yep, considering their neck. Though also 24", 22 fret & same heel profile, their fretboard overhangs to get the 22nd fret. Hoping to find a neck where all frets within the heel.

There was an Australian ebay seller who offered B&B and D&B necks (yes, also 24“) some 1-2 years ago. The necks looked good. Something with „surf“ or „jag“ in the name, maybe even both... if I find them again I‘ll post them here!

Blocks and binding / dots and binding.

I'd be very interested in those necks too if the seller's still around!

With lots of digging I think I found the seller - and an old listing... but they don't have any interesting necks for sale right now.
jagnjazzmaster - and the location was surfer's paradise... therefore I mixed this all up.
https://www.ebay.com/sch/m.html?_nkw=&_ ... jazzmaster

And looking at the old listing it seems like the neck is quite the same "Hermann's" in Germany is selling via eBay - the same Chinese necks that look and feel solid - but might have some issues with the spacing of the tuning holes... at least the one I got from an Austrian seller had these issues...

Also here is an unfinished Jag neck with really big block inlays... https://www.ebay.com/itm/Unfinished-Map ... 0036.m2109

Thanks for your time & effort. I'm going to go with the Pitbull neck. Been recommended & local.
