Who is Herad?

Post by Larry Mal » Wed Feb 05, 2020 5:13 pm

Back in those days, everyone knew that if you were talking about Destiny's Child, you were talking about Beyonce, LaTavia, LeToya, and Larry.

Not sure, but if HERAD offered a gold anodized tele guard I'd buy one.

Good to add to the custom plate makers. Now there's Faction, Expressway, and HERAD.

I was honestly hoping someone would start making black anodized guards, because I'm not sure if Tone-Guard ever got their shit together.

There's a guy on here who IS making anodized guards, in plain (silver-y plain metal color), gold, and black I think. Can't remember his username, but he's got a thread in the For Sale section...

This Herad guy also has red anodized guards for sale as a fundraiser for Aussie firefighters. Jag, JM, and even Bass VI. He says he lost part of his property to the fires but the firefighters saved his house.

I don't particularly need one of these right now, but that's a pretty cool fundraiser I'd be happy to support.

Herad = 'gdayj' on here, from South Australia.

Yeah, I came to notice that after I posted the original thing I did. That's a great guard and a great thing to support.

There are Telecaster guards, by the way.

And no, ToneGuard never got their shit together that I can tell. I would not purchase from him again.

"Herad" made me a custom black anodized jaguar pickguard/control plate set for a build I did a while ago, it took a little while to get em, there was some delays but the result was top quality.

plenty of pics here.

i've since taken this guitar apart and im not currently using the guard, the mahogany body I used was way to heavy, one day if i get my hands on another jaguar body (they dont come up often in australia) ill use it again.

Gdayj also made the black anodized guard and the brushed steel plates I got on my Jaguar!

As my pickup-position is a bit off he made it custom for me. Can‘t compare the guard(s) he made to anything - but they quality is flawless.
If that‘s him - then please see this as another recommendation! 😊

Very cool fundraiser... I promised myself I was gonna leave my Bass VI alone after changing the pots, but... I might have to have one of these.
