Soooo I went the way you guys suggested. :) Pickguard and bridge are loaded up. These are clones of a PAF and Super Distortion made in Canada. I haven't used them before so I am excited to try them out.

Had that spur to keep sanding so I went to work on the body. It actually took less time. I decided to do satin finish. I really like it. Really smooth but I can still feel the deeper grain lines. Feels really cool. Everything went together pretty well. I had to grind the bridge pickup tabs a bit. They were getting stuck in the pickup rout. I also had to make the jack hole deeper because the electrostatic cup and jack weren't able to go in deep enough. Other then that, it was really smooth putting it together. It sounds great! (Dimarzio PAF and Super Distortion are my all time favorite combo.) Here are the pics. I will try to get daylight ones tomorrow.

Not a fan of telemasters, humbuckers or yellow guitars, but I really like this guitar. Well done.
Logic gates based on billiard-ball computer designs have also been made to operate using live soldier crabs of the species Mictyris guinotae in place of the billiard balls.

Looks great! The red inspiration guitar in the OP was leading me to imagine this looking kind of gross, but you've proven me wrong. It's like an improved version of the classic butterscotch blonde.

Thanks! I appreciate it. The finish is a lot like a Gibson TV Yellow finish. :)

I have to say I thought I didn't need to start another project but after seeing this build I'm thinking I'll have to try this grain fill on future project
Great job!!.....I'm drooling!

Thanks! Grain filling can be really fun and it isn't too hard as long as you seal the wood first so the filler doesn't stain the wood.
