Why is my strangle switch not working?

I lose all output when I engage the switch. Is there a short or something that I'm missing? Help me OSG, you're my only hope.

Wiring looks ok, try replacing the cap.

Any suggestions on what to use? Fender sells them for 8 dollars? Kinda crazy.

Any 0.003μF capacitor that fits in the route will be fine. You could try a music shop or an electronics place (RS/Maplin over here).

$4 on eBay will get you 20 of what you need. Then you can keep a few in your pocket and give them to anyone you meet who owns a Jaguar.
