How can I determine the neck profile?

I have a MM neck from 1977...it's my favorite of all time and I'd like to know a way to determine what its profile exactly is...
If such a way exists

1-) measure neck width at nut
2.) measure neck thickness at 1st fret
3.) measure neck width at 12th fret
4.) measure neck thickness at 12th fret

... rough measurements.

Still won't say too much about the actual profile.
If you want another neck with the same feel, send it to a serious guitar builder - they'll understand.

Might be 'semi-fat with an almost 'U'-like profile, but faster in the upper registers'... who knows. Too many indescribable parameters.

Raphael, it also helps to have a set of calipers to make your measurements. Even a cheap set will be good enough for these kind of rough measurements.
