Praise for the Pyramid pure nickels
Silky smooth, easy to bend, stay in tune after a stretch or two, very balanced, and they last forever. I only now realized that I put fresh sets on all guitars like...errr... two years ago. Not one string has broken, and they all still feel and sound great. I don't abuse them like I used to (only fingerpicking these days), but still... they don't even have fretting wear marks. Might of course be different with stainless frets. Some guitars have the 'maximum performance' nickels on them, others the 'nickel classics', and I can't tell much of a difference between them - apart from the fact that the 'performance' set is even easier to bend than the classics because of the thinner inner wire. Easily the best strings I've ever played.

Yeah, I've been using them for the last two years or so. I once bought like 30 sets at once and I can't see myself changing brands anytime soon. I love them - and they're fairly cheap, too

Yeah totally forgot about the price... like 8 bucks? I would still play them if they cost twice as much.

In fact, praise for the entire Pyramid's range. I've used the pure nickels, the flats (Gold) and acoustics so far, and all have been great. I usually get mine from Banzai Music, and the prices are quite low.
We got people playing stringed instruments! It's the end of days.

Yes their flats are super rad, too. Will try out their acoustic strings soon.

Resisted for years because I was always of the "strings are strings" school but I threw a set of round core Pyramids on a month or so back and can't believe how good they sound and feel. Best of all, they're really long. I was having trouble finding a D string long enough for my Harvester (from trem to headstock is a long, long way) but these are perfect.

Re. scale length/special tunings: they even make personalized sets!

Then again, even worldwide shipping for a few sets of strings can't be that expensive.

Re: Praise for the Pyramid pure nickels
i used the flats on my Ric 12, and those buggers lasted forever. They threw in a pack of the regular nickels too and those were pretty nice too come to think of it. Might have to try them out on my new Mustang, undecided on what stings to go with as of yet. was leaning to the D Adario NYC 10-47's or 52's
