Hi everyone,
I am wondering if anyone has replaced their Classic Player Jazzmaster neck with a aftermarket vintage spec one.
Thanks,
Martijn

Re: Classic Player Jazzmaster with vintage neck
Not done it but as the radius of the fret board is quite different from the CP neck the saddles (saddle slots) have to be filed to follow the vintage radius.
By the way the same procedure has to be done if one has a stock CP JM, as the radius on the TOM is for Gibson type radius.

Re: Classic Player Jazzmaster with vintage neck
9.5" is quite a bit closer to TOM radius than 7.5" is, and in many Gibsons, actually the neck is 9.5-10.5" anyway. But I do find that 7.5" is just a bit too much to handle for Tune-O-Matic bridges. I suggest radiusing.
