Hi everyone,
I have a Fender Classic Player Jazzmaster and here in Quebec City we are having a very tough and dry winter. I noticed the neck being a bit dry
and I was wondering if it had shrunk. Would someone be willing to measure the neck width at the first, seventh and twelfth fret so I can have a
comparison?
Would be much appreciated!
Thanks,
Mart

Re: Fender Classic Player Jazzmaster neck width
I would just put some lemon oil or any good conditioner on the fret board . I have a mex neck but not classic player it would be hard to measure and compare shrinkage from dryness I would think. thousands of inches would be hard to measure accurately . if you have fret sprout keep check on humidity condition the fret board for sure. good luck
