Hey there,

I lost the allen key for the saddle adjustment screws on my Jazzmaster. I need to get a new one, emergency-wise, on the way home from work. What size do I need to get?

Thanks!

AVRI and vintage are .050... it's sometimes tough to find. I had to buy a whole set to get one.

MIJ/CIJ are a little bigger (metric). I forget the actual size (in mm).

You definitely can't use one for the other.

I have an AVRI - I probably should have mentioned that. Duh.

Thanks for the help - I'll be trying to find a .050 on the way home I guess.

Didn't have any that small at the local hardware store. Oh oh... this might be harder than I anticipated!

Didja check the sets?

Mine is an 11 pc. set in a little red holder with 'Eklind' printed on it... from ACE hardware if I remember correctly.

I think Fender sells them separately, though. A lot cheaper if a dealer near you has one.

Yeah - the smallest one in any set they had was a 1.5. I'll try my local guitar shop on the way home too.
