Jaguarillo setup

Does anyone have any setup suggestions for the Jaguarillo? I just bought a used one today. The humbucker is right up underneath the strings - the middle pickup is a little lower - the neck pickup is way down. Is that normal? The neck pickup doesn't sound so strong when the switch is forward. The neck angle slopes away pretty deeply also. I think that I read somewhere that was normal for a Jaguar. Would that apply to the Jaguarillo also?

The pickups should be all be relatively the same distance from the stings. With that being said, try and dial in the tone with each one of them to your taste.
