Hi all, looking for some kind soul to point me in the direction of a source (UK prefered) for a CIJ Jazzmaster pickgaurd/scratchplate, looking at either mint or partchment... or maybe black..
Any help direction or guidance would be much appreciated... Haven't got my hands on the guitar yet but should have it on Monday.
Thanks

Re: CIJ Pickgaurds
Japan and USA guards are different. There are ones on E-Bay. Make sure they are for Japan Jaguars and Jazzmasters. If they do not say, ask before placing an order.
Woof!

Re: CIJ Pickgaurds
This ebay seller has some http://stores.ebay.co.uk/earlpilanz?_rdc=1
Infact that seller is the only seller I've ever seen who seems to know whether the have CIJ/MIJ or US pickguards in stock. Most people don't seem to know what they are selling, or if they do they certainly don't include the info on their website.
You can actually tell visually what model the pickguard is for, by looking at the angle of one of the edges - search the forum, there was a thread discussing this in detail at some point.
btw not all Allparts UK pickguards are CIJ so be careful - they've never had any in stock when I've looked recently anyway.
edit: Sorry I've just noticed that this thread is 4 years old! Not sure why it was reborn.
