Hi all,
Long-time lurker, first-time poster. Let me first say that I've learned so much from this forum, and I'm really happy to have a membership.
I'm planning a 25.5" Jaguar build, and am curious if it would be kosher to rout the bridge post holes 1.5" closer to the lower bout to accommodate the scale of the neck? My main concern would be that the bridge would be much closer to the bridge plate. Should the plate, too, then be moved a bit closer to the lower bout? Or would it be fine to just move the bridge down and leave the plate where it is?
Thank you in advance for any advice!
David
