Hey guys.
I've had my Mustang for about 2 years now , sounds great , but recently the high e sting (thin one) has gotten its' intonation WAY off , about 0.25 of a tone on the 12th fret , sounds just awful. I know how to set up a standard guitar ... well , this ain't standard. tried moving the screw that's holding the string back and forth , so far - no response. the strings are about 8-9 months old I'd say , is the problem coming from the strings ? (A good friend of mine had a horrible time on his strat's B string , swapped the strings for some brand new one and the problem was all gone).
Any suggestions ?

I'd suggest trying new strings.
