Hi,
I'm in the process of ordering a custom shop jazzmaster.
I own a 1969 jazzmaster with bound fingerboard and I love it.
I'd like to know what is the raduis on a late 69 jazzmaster, I know that the AV are 7,25" but I don't know if it is the same on the bound fingerboard of the late 60's jazzmaster.
late 60' jazzmaster radius?

As far as I know they've always been 7.25" radius with the exception of the MIJ/CIJ models with humbuckers and tune-o-matic bridges w/ stop tails like these:

Those catalogs mention that the fingerboards are "curved" (ALL standard electric guitar fingerboards are curved - even the flattest Jackson necks are around a 16" radius, but there is *some* curve). I think they were just struggling for adjectives - notice that they mention that the truss rod is "fully adjustable" as if that's a new innovation for that year's model.

AFAIK, mjet is correct and all old Fenders are 7.25", unless someone has reshaped the fretboard in the meantime.
Certainly the '68 neck I have as part of a project appears to be 7.25".

It would be easy enough to make a couple of radius gauges with a piece of paper, a string, a ruler, a pencil, and some scissors if you wanted to check it.
Bigger in sum than parts.
