...just wondering how warbly things can get sorry if this has been covered...
On the low E with DaDarrio 11s, I can pull up about (but not quite) a step, and go down not quite a step... The high e bends up about a hal step, and goes down about a half step.
I've got mine set up where the tremlock is effective...
I've also noticed vintage Jag trems seem to have more range than my Japanese Jag... how's bout you guys.

Re: Jag trem range?
My CIJ, from standard tuning, which I don't even both with the Trem lock, the plate is a little lower from the trem lok button actually, drops all the way down to a low A (below the 7 string guitars range), and up only half a step. I do bar dives on this thing pretty quickly. As far as I know, it's the original CIJ trem. I think the 63' I played could go down to a G.

Re: Jag trem range?
I tune my jag in D#,it drops to B and goes up to F#...thats with the bar hitting the pickguard and the inside trem components hitting the trem plate when it goes up.I have it set up evenly so the trem lock works.
