"stiff" vintage neck, does such a thing exist?

I don't know how long it lasts though. I had my Mustang neck unstrung for like 10 hours, and it was flat or backbowed when I put strings back on it. Now it's better, it has a little relief, but it is 4 or 5 days later.

As long as you tune them like a guitar (one octave higher), it should be fine. :D

oh, i didn't think of that. thanks a lot! :freako:

while taking the guitars apart, i noticed the neck screws can't move any further out of the necks because the neck pocket keeps 'em from doing so.
