Is this a refin?

Post by NickD » Wed Dec 20, 2006 11:16 am

I'm probably cheating putting it in this section, but it soes say offset on the headstock ;)

This is my 73 Mustang, just curious as to whether people think it is a refin or not, I'm not 100% sure, it looks like it may well be, but the drying nails are still on top of the finish. Not hugely bothered if it is, the shop who sold it to me weren't sure either.

On another topic, there are a couple of small cracks between the routing for the bridge pup and the trem, they don't go all the way through. Should I fix them, or are they settled after 33 years? I guess CBS should have let the wood cure properly before painting the guitars!
