I've got some pickup covers from Funked Up Guitars and a Herad pickguard, what's the best way to ground them?

Star washer on the jack for the Herad pickguard. A wire soldered to a solder tag washer mounted with a spring on one of the pickup mounting screws for the covers?

If you have shielded pickup cavities the mounting screws may ground the covers anyway. Best to check for continuity with a multimeter.

I've generally cleared some of the anodization off around all the pot, jack, and switch mounting screw holes so that way everything is grounded without having to run ground wires to everything. Then I make sure that my copper shielding in the body has continuity to the pack of the pickguard by also clearing off the anodization around a few of the pickguard screw holes and making sure there's copper tape there.

Oh, I didn't even know that solder tag washers were a thing. I'll have to get some.
