The first set of LaBella flats I got way back had a weird A-string that intonated way lower than it should have and caused an issue with the saddle alignment.

Bass VI w LaBella flats intonation
Just strung the Bass VI with LaBella VI flats. Love the sound and playability and all that, but the intonation looks weird with the B-string hiked up to the top of the bridge plate. Just checking if this is consistent with other's experiences. Obvs what matters is that it's tuned correctly, not how it looks, but this could be indicative of a bad string if it's out of the norm.
