Mustang Bridge Saddles Moving

Post by RoséBear » Fri Jan 31, 2020 10:45 pm

Hey there!

I love my mustang, and just recently decided to correctly lock it down. I ran into an issues. I added a washer to the bolt to raise the cigar tube up just so the strings aren’t touching the back of the bridge. For the longest time, they were touching the back.
This is great! And works great! But the problem is, it seems (specifically my low E) shifts around a lot, causing the string to detune. Is the only solution to just remove those washers and add that tension back?

How high is your action? Is your neck shimmed?
