Just got my ECJM, and it's the bee's knees. Thanks to dugwolf for his deliciously poor judgement in selling it to me for a good price.
I could have sworn I seen someone on here saying they knew where to get springs of the same tension, but Iĺl be damned if I can find it.
Why O why did Fender stop making these? It is, IMHO, much better than their current offerings- the neck is just amazing.
Does anyone sell the Elvis Costello trem spring?

Is it the same as the AV/AVRI spring ? (Fender p/n 0019307000)

Like strat trem springs, no one publishes the spring constants of their springs, ie force change per unit length change (generally linear) ... = stiffness. So it's hard to be sure of how JM trem springs compare in stiffness.
Allparts also has one ...

Awesome! Congrats! Just looked these up.
Why would the trem be any different than the AVRI? Curious how the neck shape differs. I always assumed these were the same as AVRI specs minus the cosmetics.
