Free mod to tighten up the vibrato arm in the socket.

With the risk of stating the obvious:

Put the end of the arm in a vise or vise grips and put a slight bend on the part going into the socket.

Removes the slop.

Old news, but I’ll play. I left the arm in the trem & cranked a zip tie around the collet. Works perfect. I never take the arm out & there’s no case issue. Of course the vise trick is far less labor.
