Hey guys, I'm having trouble finding a diagram and understanding the signal routing going on atm.
Does anyone have a diagram for:
Neck
Neck and Bridge
Middle
Middle and bridge
Bridge
I've found several that show instead of the middle (3) position you have neck and bridge. I'd prefer to keep that middle sound an option though because it's a little unique and cool sounding. I know these options are possible on a regular 5 way by swapping the middle with bridge or neck wires but it puts everything out of order.
Any help in this case is much appreciated!

Re: Super Switch Help Needed
I believe the top wiring diagram here shows the 4P5T superswitch wired the way you want. You only use 2 poles of the 4 ...

Thank you! Unfortunately that diagram is for
Neck
Neck Middle
Neck Bridge
Middle Bridge
Bridge
I'm trying to get
Neck
Neck Bridge
Middle
Middle Bridge
Bridge
Originally I was shooting for Jerry Donahue wiring but some things are off with it. The half out of phase setting is so quiet and I have a mini SPDT splitting a neck humbucker but when it's split it's always on (so just the bridge position becomes bridge and neck single)

Re: Super Switch Help Needed
OK you can follow the same principles exemplified in the diagram to get what you want.
The second bank - 5 tabs - gives you spots for 5 options / switch positions. When the switch is in the first position, the first tab is engaged on every bank of 5 tabs. When in the second position ... the second tab, etc etc. So you would connect the pickup you want in each position to each of the first set of 5 tabs (or leave it blank).
The other bank of 5 tabs is where you connect the next pickup you want in each of the 5 positions, if you want more than one. Again you can leave a tab blank, if you already have the pickup that you want at that position on the previous bank of 5 tabs.
The output tabs are wired as above.

Re: Super Switch Help Needed
Thank you so much. that's such a straightforward explanation. For some reason, routing diagrams weren't clicking for me but that makes so much sense the way you described.
So I'll need
Neck
Neck Bridge
Middle
Middle Bridge
Bridge
Meaning neck will be to terminals 1 and 2
Middle will be to 3 and 4
Bridge will be to 2, 4, and 5
But I divvy 3 of the 4 poles to each respective pickup so I don't worry about as much wire crossing? Then do I need a jumper to connect all the commons for the 3 poles being used?

Re: Super Switch Help Needed
I would probably do it using (just) the first 2 banks/poles of 5 terminals ...
Neck hot to terminals 1 and 2 on BANK1
Middle hot to 3 and 4 on BANK1
Bridge hot to 2, 4, and 5 on BANK2
Since that would only be using 2 banks, the yellow commons / outputs would be wired as in the above diagram.
But if you extend it to 3 banks (1 per pickup), yes ... you would link the 3 common tabs as your output.
